Lucas Back Office
Windows-based data collecting and reporting designed for
the Lucas POS System. Serves as a permanent archive of restaurant data that
can be accessed quickly and easily through an intuitive calendar interface.

POS Console Program
Site Manager runs on the Manager's
workstation PC at the restaurant level and provides shortcuts to all POS and third-party
programs.
In addition to making navigation easier, Site Manager
can be configured to restrict access to programs based on job code and security
level so sensitive data stays secure.
Site Manager handles all of the automatic POS processes
that take place in the restaurant, such as data collection, polling services, remote
database uploads, and the Lucas Automated Nightly Delivery (LAND).
Site Manager can even extend the existing security
features of Windows to prevent access to the PC desktop, start menu, and hard disk.
It can also limit Internet access to only “approved”
websites.
The Lucas-BO program from Lucas Systems is designed to run on the Manager’s PC in the restaurant, and interfaces to the
Lucas POS system.
The data generated by each nightly Z is collected by
NCCView and converted into usable tables and reports which are stored permanently
on the computer hard drive.
This historical data can be accessed at any time, by
viewing on the screen or printing reports on standard sized paper.
This data can also be polled back to Headquarters over
a phone line or internet connection using the Poll Manager program from Lucas Systems.
The Labor and Projections program is a Windows based
program designed to manage employee records, make schedules and maintain POS User
Table records from the backoffice PC.
The Labor & Projections Program consists of seven
major parts:
- Crew Table
- Adjustments
- Daily Schedule Notes
- Print Daily Schedule
- Print User Schedule
- Schedule Builder and Projections
The Schedule Builder is created in-restaurant, and is
based on historical sales.
The Schedule Builder module is based on target Labor
% and/or target Hours Allowed.
Adjustments made in ‘Sales Projections,’ will be reflected
as the schedule is being built.
The NConsole program is a Windows based
program primarily designed as an easy to use interface to the POS registers.
Its primary function is database maintenance, programming/testing
immediate and scheduled uploads and can be used to manually poll the registers when
needed.
The POS Console Program was designed
primarily as a PC-based user interface to the POS System. POS Console allows live
and historical editing of all data to Inventory, Payroll, Deposits and Paid Outs.
Live (in session) Real Time Reports generated directly
from the POS System and viewed on the back-office PC or at headquarters with our
Lucas-HQ software.
